Swineford Nation Bank, Lewisburg Branch

Mid-Penn provided site engineering and surveying services for development of Swineford Bank in the Silver Moon Plaza, near Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. This new branch bank project involved feasibility and sketch planning, preliminary and final land development design, regulatory and municipal approvals, and assistance with construction and post construction activities.

Best Buy, Lycoming Mall

Mid-Penn provided engineering and surveying services for a new, 20,000 sq. ft., Best Buy store at the Lycoming Mall, near Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Site services provided include feasibility and sketch planning, preparation of land development plans, permitting, and approvals, including wetland delineation and USACOE jurisdictional determination. Mid-Penn also prepared color perspectives for the client, showing site sections for the project.

Evangelical Hospital East Expansion & Ambulatory Surgery Center, Lewisburg

Mid-Penn prepared the site design for Evangelical's $16 million East Expansion project in Kelly Township, Union County, which includes a 19,000 square-foot emergency department and 24-bed inpatient unit. Mid-Penn's site services for the hospital have covered other expansion projects, including a 28,000 square-foot ambulatory surgery center, physical plant, offices, and physical therapy center. Designs generated pertinent to the East Expansion included a preliminary access plan, land development plan to address grading, utilities, stormwater, expanded parking, landscape, and traffic control planning for the new entrance and emergency room facilities, site plan for the northwest parking lot, a winter maintenance plan to address snow removal and parking issues during construction, and a site plan for west entrance modifications. Construction of the east wing began in 2002 and was completed by summer 2004, providing the hospital with the capability to treat an additional 17,000 patients yearly.

Mid-Penn also completed site work for the 28,000 square-foot ambulatory surgery center, physical therapy center expansion, and hospital facilities physical plant.

Lycoming Mall

Mid-Penn has performed numerous engineering and surveying services for the 240-acre Lycoming Mall development, including boundary surveys and final plot plan, stormwater update analysis, feasibility studies, sketch plans, preliminary and final subdivision plans, municipal and regulatory agency approvals, PA DOT and PA DEP permitting and design and permitting of sanitary sewer collection and conveyance facilities.

Mid-Penn provided complete site design services for the $1 million+ Great Escape Theatre project, meeting all submission deadlines for the client's tight, fast track project schedule. Of crucial significance to the project was Mid-Penn's solution to the impervious ratio requirements of local zoning ordinances, through the use of turf-reinforced parking areas. Mid-Penn's creative and cost-effective engineering also addressed challenges related to traffic flow and pedestrian safety.
